Our Management Team
Our management team possess extensive experience in the industry. Our expertise covers multiple asset classes and valuation requirements such as mergers and acquisitions, management strategic planning, financial reporting, etc. Our management team is reputated for our sound technical expertise and innovative approaches in handling challenging cases and our high professional standards.
Jason Chu
Managing Director
Jason Chu is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst. Jason has extensive experience across multiple areas, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions, development of sophisticated financial models, business valuations, valuations of intangible assets (including trademarks, customer relationships and technologies), valuations of financial instruments etc.
Jason has a broad base of clientele across various industries including healthcare, technology, media and telecommunication, food and beverage, retail, manufacturing, utilities, direct sales, real estate, education as well as private equity sectors.
Jason is one of the founding partners of ValQuest and prior to partnership in Valquest, Jason also has years of experience in the valuation department of a Big 4 CPA firm.
Chris Tan
Managing Director
Chris Tan is a Chartered Financial Analyst, Certified Public Accountant, Fellow Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant. Prior to his partnership in Valquest, Chris possesses years of experience as the Executive Director and Head of Business Valuation function of a listed company in Hong Kong. Chris has also worked in the valuation department of a Big 4 CPA firm for a number of years.
Chris has over 10 years of experience in the valuation of businesses, natural resources, intangible assets, financial instruments for various purposes, such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offering, financing, due diligence, etc.
In addition, Chris has also acted as the Expert Witness for several court cases involving the valuation of assets and financial analyses.
Eva Ng
Associate Director
Eva Ng is a Certified Public Accountant.
Eva specializes in business valuation, intangible asset valuation, preference share valuation, financial instrument valuation and investment portfolio valuation, both for transaction and financial reporting purposes. Eva has also assisted in the preparation of the fairness opinion of a gaming company delisted from Nasdaq.
Eva has advised her clients in a wide range of industries, including licensed corporations, technology, healthcare, energy, TMT, etc. Before joining ValQuest, Eva served as a Director of another valuation firm, and also a Manager of the valuation department of a Big 4 audit firm.
